This is a 4-Story building with 112 rooms Hotel spanning 93,000 square feet. The project involved designing a new hotel building with modern amenities and features. Sunshine Express Car Wash, 3,475 sq. ft, Redding, CA

S3DA Design completed the structural design for the car wash facility at 4603 Churn Creek Road. Now in full operation, the facility serves as a showcase of the firm’s dedication to superior quality and design excellence.

The interior of the existing building had to be remodeled to facilitate the addition of the new building. We also had to consider the replacement of the fuel pump and canopy, and the addition of a new overhead canopy and parking area.

S3DA was requested providing Structural, MEP and Title 24 for a Custom Residence for Calgold Properties in Victory LN., Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.

This 37,461 sq. ft. custom residence area included the main house, casita, patio, storage, and a 2 car garage. S3DA was tasked with the structural and MEP design of this project, given our unique ability to take care of both simultaneously, offering a final, clash-free design to the client. Noticing the flat roofs, we also proposed to develop a solar system to the client, which was approved. We offered designs for cooling and heating systems, humidity control, a lighting system, a plumbing system including water, water heating and wastewater, and a gas system. We handled a modern home design in Danville, CA. In providing the best MEP and structural design services, we were delighted to design using the Revit software a Two-floored modern house for our client.

We started designing a traditional style home in Menlo Park, California. The house has 2562 square foot in two levels with four bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and a kitchenette, laundry room and a library on the second floor. It took us 42 days to provide all the architectural and structural drawings. Our client had an old traditional style home which he wanted to tear down and build a similar house on a larger scale with an additional second level. This client was referred to us by an old client for whom we designed a house in California. Our new client was under a serious time constraint and wanted to submit the plans to the city for approval in February. He wanted to start the actual construction by the end of March.

Our Structural Engineering team proposed Scissors trusses to sit on the walls at different levels. In order to improve the stability of the existing CMU walls, our Engineering team designed a concrete tie beam on top of the wall (depth 6”) with No. 4 reinforcing bars under the trusses.
