S3DA Design has been selected to provide Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for a new Truck Service Shop development in Apple Valley. 

The project includes MEP design across three buildings, supporting office, service, and restroom facilities, with a focus on reliable power distribution, efficient HVAC systems, and code-compliant plumbing infrastructure tailored to heavy-duty service operations. 

Scope of Work Overview 

Building A 

  • Full MEP design for a 3,499 SF office area 
  • Electrical design for the service area 

Building B 

  • Electrical design for the service area 
  • Plumbing design for restroom facilities 

Building C 

  • Electrical design for the service area 
  • Plumbing design for restroom facilities 

Electrical Design 

  • New incoming electrical service from utility transformer to main distribution board 
  • Complete power distribution system (main, sub-distribution, and branch panels) 
  • Interior and exterior lighting, emergency egress lighting, and lighting controls 
  • Power and outlet rough-ins for equipment and operations 
  • Power distribution for HVAC and miscellaneous equipment 
  • Low-voltage rough-ins per owner requirements 

HVAC Design 

  • New HVAC systems with load calculations and air balancing 
  • HVAC air distribution plans and mechanical schedules 
  • Exhaust fans for restroom areas 

Plumbing Design 

  • Domestic water, water heating, sanitary, and vent systems connected to main lines 
  • Condensate collection for mechanical equipment 
  • Heater selection, schedules, and plumbing equipment details 
  • Isometric drawings for coordination and construction
